August 8, 2025 - AKRON, OH - The Chesapeake Baysox, Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, saw their comeback effort fall just short on Friday night, as Chesapeake fell 4-3 to the Akron RubberDucks, Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, from Canal Park. August 8, 2025 - NORFOLK, Va - The Norfolk Tides (14-21 | 44-64) fell to the Rochester Red Wings (16-21 | 43-66), 8-4, on Thursday at Harbor Park. The loss snapped the Tides their season-high winning streak of five games. Rochester scored first tonight in the second inning when Nasim Nuñez knocked a two-run single. August 8, 2025 - SALISBURY, MD: The Delmarva Shorebirds (40-65, 13-26) were defeated by the Fayetteville Woodpeckers (55-49, 18-20) by a final score of 10-4 on Friday night. The Woodpeckers took an early lead in the first inning by scoring three runs, with two coming home on an error and one on a wild pitch. Right-handed starter Trey Gibson was marvelous on the mound once again for Chesapeake.
