July 2, 2026 - AUSTIN, MINN. - The Austin Bruins are proud to announce that former team captain Connor Mylymok has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the National Hockey League's (NHL) Chicago Blackhawks.
Mylymok spent three seasons in Austin as a forward, appearing in 122 regular-season games, posting 50 points (20G, 30A). Known for his intimidating presence on the ice, his 382 career penalty minutes rank second all-time in Bruins history.

"It means a lot to me that I have this opportunity to continue playing hockey while also getting an education," said McKay.

June 27, 2026 - AUSTIN, MINN. - Former Austin Bruin goaltender Carl Axelsson was drafted Saturday in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft by the Utah Mammoth. Axelsson was selected by the Mammoth in the fourth round of the draft with the 115th overall pick.
Axelsson made his debut with the Bruins on December 7th, 2024 against the St. Cloud Norsemen, allowing just one goal on 27 shots while picking up the victory for the Bruins in a shootout.

June 24, 2026 - AUSTIN, MINN. - The defending Central Cup Champion Austin Bruins will begin the 2026-27 at home in Riverside Arena against the Watertown Shamrocks in a two-game series on Friday, September 18th at 7:05pm and Saturday, September 19th at 6:05pm. The opening series will be a rematch of the 2026 Central Division Semifinal that saw the Bruins sweep the Shamrocks three games to none.
