December 9, 2025 - ROCHESTER, MINN. - The 32nd season of Rochester Honkers baseball is set to take flight this May when the Northwoods League opens play for the 2026 season. The Honkers, being one of the original five teams from the Northwoods League's founding in 1994, are already in line to achieve several milestones this upcoming summer. Former Big Leaguer Jason Jácome Tabbed New Field Manager

September 25, 2025 - ROCHESTER, MINN. - The Rochester Honkers are making a "big league" move in preparation for their upcoming 2026 season as team officials announced the hiring of their new field manager today, former big league pitcher Jason Jácome. Jácome, who currently serves as the associate head coach at his alma mater and perennial junior college powerhouse Pima College (Ariz.), pitched for three different Major League organizations between 1994-1998 including the New York Mets, Kansas City Royals and the Cleveland Indians. Former Honker Zach Cole Makes MLB Debut

September 16, 2025 - Rochester, Minn. - Former Rochester Honker Zach Cole made his Major League debut on Friday, September 12, 2025, and former Madison Mallard Carson Ragsdale made his MLB debut two days later. Cole is the 410th former Northwoods League player to reach the Major League level while Ragsdale is the 411th. Ragsdale is also the 39th former player to debut this season which is a Northwoods League record. Cole, who played collegiately at Ball State University, played for the Honkers in 2021. Duluth Huskies Roll in 17-2 Victory at Mayo Field

August 5, 2025 - ROCHESTER, Minn. - Division-leading Duluth turns on the afterburners for a dominant win against Rochester. Luke Stulga led things off for Rochester in the first with a solo home run. A sacrifice fly from Van Coughlin scored Josh Outlaw to give the Honkers a 2-0 lead. After the first inning, it was tough sledding for Rochester as Duluth took control.
