July 9, 2026 - UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Nyan Hayes homered to tie the game in the seventh inning, then led off the bottom of the ninth with a triple to set up Trent Turner's walk-off single to give the State College Spikes a 5-4 win over the West Virginia Black Bears on Wednesday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Spikes Set Second Half Roster

July 8, 2026 - The initial second-half Spikes roster includes eight players returning from the season's first half, including slugging first baseman CJ Richmond, who tied for the MLB Draft League lead in doubles with 10 in the opening half and was responsible for five of the Spikes' seven hardest-hit balls in that span. The man responsible for the other two, outfielder Justin Journette, also comes back to the Spikes for the second half. Spikes, Crosscutters Canceled by Inclement Weather on Sunday

July 5, 2026 - UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Sunday night's scheduled first-half finale between the State College Spikes and Williamsport Crosscutters at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park was canceled due to inclement weather. The game will not be made up. Fans holding tickets for Sunday night's game can exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value to any other 2026 Spikes home game, based on availability.
