Monarchs Receive Zac Larazza and Yann Sauve on Loan

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach, Rich Seeley, announced today that the Portland Pirates have assigned defenseman Yann Sauve to the Monarchs and received Zac Larazza after being released by Portland from his Professional Try-Out Agreement.

Sauve, a 25-year-old from Rigaud, Quebec, appeared in three games this season with the Pirates, registering one assist.

The Vancouver Canucks selected Sauve as the 41st overall pick in the 2008 NHL Draft. Sauve has played in 285 professional games between the NHL, AHL and ECHL, collecting 69 career points.

Larazza returns to the Monarchs after the Pirates released him from his Professional Try-out Agreement. With the Pirates, Larazza played in two games, recording an assist in his AHL debut. With the Monarchs this season, Larazza has played in three games, scoring three goals and one assist.

The Monarchs return to action Friday, Nov. 13 (7 p.m.) against the Toledo Walleye for the first of three games this weekend at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
