Norfolk Admirals News Release
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announce today that the American Hockey League club has recalled rookie forwards Greg Chase and Marco Roy from ECHL affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.
Chase, 20, has four goals and two assists through the first 10 games of his professional career with the Admirals. A seventh-round draft choice by Edmonton in 2013, Chase went scoreless in his pro debut before setting a team-high, six-game point streak from Oct. 17 to Nov. 6. The Sherwood Park, Alberta native is a minus-3 to go along with 18 penalty minutes. It will be the first experience in the AHL.
Roy, 21, also made his debut as a professional with Norfolk. After going without a point in the first five games, the Boisbriand, Quebec local posted a goal and five assists in his previous five games. The Oilers' second-round pick of 2013 stands at 6-foot-3 and 183 pounds, and is a minus-3 through 10 ECHL contests. This is his first call-up to the AHL.
The Admirals embark on a season-long, seven-game road trip starting this Friday at Elmira. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. and can be heard on 1650 AM WHKT. Watch it live on ECHL.TV. There is still plenty of the 2015-16 season left to purchase season tickets, which start at $400. Ten-pack tickets are also available and can be purchased at the Admirals' Administrative Office inside Scope. Individual game tickets can be purchased at the Scope Box Office, ticketmaster.com, or charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.
