INDEPENDENCE, MO (July 1, 2015) - The Missouri Mavericks announced Wednesday afternoon that the team has acquired forward Sebastien Sylvestre from the Norfolk Admirals (ECHL), in exchange for Alex Lepkowski and Kain Allicock.

"Sylvestre is a very skilled forward who see the ice really well and can score," said Richard Matvichuk, Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations for the Missouri Mavericks. "He is a very skater we feel not only will he help out on our power-play, but in key situations such as three-on-three overtime."

Sebastien Sylvestre led the Bakersfield Condors (now the Norfolk Admirals) in both goals and points during their 2014-15 campaign in the ECHL, notching a total of twenty-three (23) goals and twenty-four (24) assists through sixty-nine (69) regular season games.

The Mavericks begin their 2015-16 campaign on the road in Anchorage, Alaska for their first-ever matchup against the Alaska Aces.
