Mavericks Sign Forward Jared Brown

Independence, Missouri - Oct. 13, 2014 - The Missouri Mavericks announced Thursday afternoon that they have acquired forward Jared Brown for future considerations.
Brown, 28, spent his last two (2) seasons with the Rapid City Rush, tallying 28 goals, 54 assists and 99 penalty minutes through 102 games.
"Jared Brown is a proven goal scorer at the AA hockey level. He brings great speed and a great shot to the team. Being a local kid, we are very excited to get him to town," said Richard Matvichuk, Missouri Mavericks Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations of the 5'10" Gardner, Kansas native.
