Reading Royals News Release

Orlando, FL - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, defeated the Orlando Solar Bears, 8-3, at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. After being shutout in two of the last four games, Reading exploded for a season high eight goals to pull out the team's fourteenth come-from-behind win of the season. The Royals fell behind on two early goals by the Solar Bears, but clawed their way back enter the third in a 3-3 tie. From that point forward, it was all Reading, who racked up five third period goals-four of which came on the power play. The third period offensive outpouring included the hattrick goal for Yannick Tifu, who ended up with five points on the night; and a pair of power play goals by Stanislav Galiev, who now has eleven PPGs on the season. Riley Gill made some dramatic and timely quality saves to record his second win as a Royal in three starts.
