
Dallas Recalls Tomas Vincour - Texas Returns Home to Host Charlotte

Cedar Park, TX - The The Dallas Stars announced on Friday that the club has placed left wing Brenden Morrow on injured reserve with an upper body injury retroactive to Feb. 2 and recalled forward Tomas Vincour (vin-sooer) from the Texas Stars, Dallas' primary affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Vincour, 21, has earned one goal and two assists totaling three points in 18 contests for Dallas this season. The Brno, CZE native is being recalled from Texas, where he ranks third in team goal scoring with 11 goals in 18 games. The second-year pro was drafted in the fifth round (#129 overall) by Dallas in 2009.
Morrow, 33, has skated in 43 games for Dallas thisseason, notching eight goals and 14 assists for 22 points. His +6 rating athome is the second-best among Dallas forwards this season. The 6-0, 205-pound forward from Carlyle, SK, has skated all of his 792 NHL games with the Stars and became the 10th player in franchise history to record 500 points with the club on Nov. 12, 2011 vs. the Edmonton Oilers.
The Stars return home to host Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Park Center on Saturday, February 4th. The first 2,500 fans will receive a Texas Stars Player Magnet, compliments of Time Warner Cable. The State Farm Family Four Pack will be available for the Saturday game, with four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas, starting as low as $48. Texas will also host Milwaukee on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Both nights are 3-2-1 Nights, with $3.00 domestic drafts, $2.00 sodas and $1.00 dogs. Tuesday and Wednesday are also H-E-B Nights, if fans bring a non-perishable H-E-B food product to the Cedar Park Center box office - they will receive $5.00 off the ticket price.
