Myrtle Beach Pelicans News Release
MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Due to the tremendous response throughout a record-setting 2008 season, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans are pleased to announce a special $3 ticket offer to students (K-12 - College) and senior citizens (65 and over) for the entire 2008 post-season presented by Burroughs & Chapin.
The team will make available $3 tickets for every 2008 Pelicans home post-season game. Due to limited availability, all seats are available on a first-come-first-serve basis and are only available by visiting the Pelicans Box Office at BB&T Coastal Field. The special post-season offer does include group outings, when booked for 15 or more fans. Information on group opportunities is available by calling the Pelicans front office at (843) 918-6000 or toll-free at (877) 918-TIXX.
"Our fans have really responded to our efforts at the ballpark, making this a truly special season," said Pelicans' General Manager North Johnson. "A large part of the fun and magic of the season has been the enthusiasm shown by our student and senior-laden fan base." "We definitely wanted to make certain that all those great fans could participate in our title run," Johnson added.
The Pelicans hold home-field advantage in the Divisional round of the playoffs and have the potential to host five post-season games. The Pelicans are offering a special five-game package to ensure fans the same seat for all the playoff action.
