Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release

Myrtle Beach, SC - Monday night's scheduled game between the Wilmington Blue Rocks and Myrtle Beach Pelicans was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday with game one scheduled for a 6:05 p.m. first pitch. In the opener, the teams' aces will go head-to-head as Wilmington's Matt Kniginyzky (9-7, 3.56) faces southpaw Scott Diamond (11-2, 3.00) in a rematch of a 7-3 Wilmington win on Wednesday at Frawley Stadium. The nightcap will pit Blue Crew southpaw Ray Liotta (1-0, 3.00), fresh off his first Blue Rocks win, against fellow lefty Cole Rohrbough (1-1, 4.82). Both games will be scheduled for seven innings.

The Blue Rocks are 0-6 in doubleheader games this season, having been swept by Frederick twice (April 22 & 29) and Potomac (June 7).
