Iowa Cubs News Release
Des Moines, IA -Chicago Cubs pitcher, Kerry Wood, will make his 3rd and final scheduled rehab start tomorrow night, June 24, when the Iowa Cubs take on the Oklahoma Redhawks. Game time from a sold out Principal Park in Des Moines is at 7:05pm and the contest will be shown exclusively via broadband by B2 Networks, the broadband broadcast partner for the Iowa Cubs.

It was also the most watched baseball game this year on B2 Networks. With standing room only tickets remaining for tomorrow's game, Iowa hopes to break it's all time single game attendance mark of 13,660, set on July 4, 1998.
"We're excited that Kerry Wood is pitching here Friday night," Iowa Cubs President and General Manager Sam Bernabe said. "It means he's one step closer to returning to Chicago and helping the Cubs this season. It's also great for our fans who get another chance to see a terrific pitcher in action. And we're happy we can share his progress with Cubs fans all over the world on the B2 Networks webcast."
In his first two rehab starts in AAA, the big right hander has pitched a total of 7 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 7 hits, 9 strikeouts, 5 walks and one hit batter. In his last start in Nashville, Wood's fast ball was clocked at 96 MPH.
