Sweep Secured: Wolverines Take Down Brown Bears, 5-2, in Soldotna

January 10, 2026 - The Wolverines completed a clean sweep of the Kenai River Brown Bears tonight with a 5-2 win in Soldotna. After a scoreless first period, the Brown Bears struck first early in the second. Duke Gentzler answered less than two minutes later to even the score, and Caleb Mahar gave Anchorage the lead with 1:30 remaining in the frame. January 9, 2026 - COLE FRAWNER delivers. The Wolverines captain netted two goals in Anchorage's 4-3 win over the Kenai River Brown Bears, including the lone tally of the first period and an unassisted top-shelf snipe to open the second. Chase Trompeter answered a Kenai River goal, finishing a setup from Duke Gentzler to keep the Wolverines rolling. January 8, 2026 - The Wolverines are FINALLY back home as they open a split series against the Kenai River Brown Bears tonight at the Sullivan Arena.
