Zimmerman Joins Loons

Great Lakes Loons News Release
Right-handed pitcher Bob Zimmerman has joined the Great Lakes Loons' roster. The Loons' active roster currently stands at a Midwest League maximum 25 players.
Zimmerman spent part of 2008 with Springfield (Double-A, Texas League, St. Louis Cardinals), where he went 3-1 with a 5.53 ERA.
He began his career in the Los Angeles Angels' organization, after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2003 amateur draft out of Southwest Missouri State. Zimmerman previously played in the Midwest League in 2004 with the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
An updated roster for July 1 is attached.
