July 1, 2008 - The Cedar Rapids Kernels used a four run seventh inning to rally from two runs down and defeat the Quad Cities River Bandits, 7-4, at Modern Woodman Park in Davenport on Tuesday night.

Groth, Fuller, Perez and Rosenbaum each had two hits as the Kernels pounded out 10 hits in the game.

After a shaky start, Kernels starter Trevor Reckling (6-2) settled down and allowed three runs on six hits and struck out seven over seven innings for the win. A.J. Ford pitched an inning of relief and Eddie McKiernan struck out one in the ninth for his eighth save.
