
Zephyrs fall to visiting RedHawks

Metairie, LA - The Zephyrs fell to the visiting Oklahoma RedHawks on Tuesday by a score of 11-3.
Oklahoma left fielder Chad Allen led the visitors with three RBI on a 3-6 game.
Reliever R.A. Dickey (3-4) picked up the win, throwing 5.2 innings and giving up no runs on five hits.
Zephyrs starter Brian Powell (6-6) recorded a loss in seven innings. Powell allowed nine runs (eight earned) on 14 hits.
Offensively the highlight for the Zephyrs was a second inning lead-off solo homer by first baseman Kevin Orie.
The loss evens the series at 1-1, and the teams will continue on Wednesday with a 7:05 PM CT contest.
