Youngstown Phantoms News Release

YOUNGSTOWN, OH- The Youngstown Phantoms fell to the Chicago Steel by a final score of 6-0 Saturday night at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry, PA.

"There wasn't anything to build on tonight. We really lacked any contagious behavior out there. We weren't nearly good enough in the tough areas tonight, and it was hard to take," said Phantoms Head Coach John Wroblewski.

Leading the way for the Steel was Jake Jaremko. The Chicago forward had a hat trick, doubling his goal tally for the season.

Chicago goaltender Daniel Vladar earned the 24-save shutout in his first win of the season.

On the horizon for Youngstown is the first road trip of the season. The Phantoms will be back in action at Dubuque on Friday and at Green Bay on Saturday.
