Yard Goats Announce 2023 Schedule

(Hartford, CT) The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, has announced its 2023 game schedule. The Yard Goats will open next season on Thursday, April 6th against the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles affiliate) at Dunkin' Donuts Park, which was recently named the 2022 Double-A Ballpark of the Year. Game times and promotions will be announced at a later time. The Yard Goats will play the regular season from April 6th through September 17th.

The Yard Goats will host the New York Mets affiliate, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, for a six-game series, April 18th through April 23rd, and again on September 5th through September 10th. The Boston Red Sox affiliate, the Portland Sea Dogs, will visit Hartford for a six-game series from May 16th through May 21st. The New York Yankees affiliate, the Somerset Patriots, will play against the Yard Goats in Hartford for a six-game series from June 6th through June 11th, and again on July 18th through July 23rd.

The 2023 home schedule also features games against the MLB affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays, and San Francisco Giants. The Erie Sea Wolves make their first appearance at Dunkin' Donuts Park since 2019.

"We are excited to begin planning the 2023 season, while in the midst of a playoff hunt this year," Yard Goats General Manager Mike Abramson said. "Our fans' appetite for Yard Goats Baseball at Dunkin' Donuts Park is endless, and we're thrilled to deliver on both ends."

The Yard Goats visit Akron (OH), Altoona (PA), and Erie (PA) for the first time since the 2019 season. The home schedule will conclude on Sunday, September 10th vs Binghamton.

The Yard Goats start the final homestand of the regular season tonight at 7:05 PM against the Reading Fightin Phils at Dunkin' Donuts Park. The homestand will also include a six-game series against the New York Yankees affiliate, the Somerset Patriots.
