Sioux City Explorers News Release

SIOUX CITY, IA - On August 19th, the Sioux City Explorers will be hosting a Red Out Night at Lewis and Clark Park. The X's want to invite all of their fans and supporters to come out dressed in red as they take on their I-29 rivals, the Sioux Falls Fighting Pheasants. The first 100 fans dressed in red through the gates will receive a sweet treat coupon from the Explorers partner, Red Robin. Along with the coupons, Red the Robin will join our mascot Slider and our promotions staff throwing out Red Robin t-shirts in the audience during the game.

Palmer Candy Company will also be participating in the red out craze. Instead of flinging the usual bite-size Twin Bings, our promo staff will be flinging snack-size Twin Bings. It's the perfect snack to go along a great night of baseball. And always, Friday will start off our Weekend Happy Hour, where fans can enjoy $1 Domestic Draft Beer and $1 Soda on the BBQ Deck from 6:00 PM until the first pitch of the game.

Come on out to Lewis and Clark Park for a great night of baseball and make sure to wear your red! Red Robin, Palmer Candy and your Sioux City Explorers want you to have a great time and show your support for the greatest team in the American Associaton, your hometown Sioux City Explorers!

Reserve your seats now by calling 712-277-9467. Group discounts are available for groups of 20 or more by calling the X's group sales department at 277-WINS(9467)!
