
Captains Close-Out Home Games Starting Friday, Cats Then Hogs

SHREVEPORT, LA- The Shreveport-Bossier Captains, presented by U-Auto Pull-It Auto Parts, welcome the Fort Worth Cats this Friday for a four-game series before the Grand Prairie AirHogs visit on Tuesday, August 23 to begin a four-game series which will round-out the Captains regular season home schedule. All games will begin at 7:05pm with Sunday's match-up starting at 6:05pm. The home stand is highlighted with a Safe Text Night, Shirts Off Our Back Nights, Bark at the Park, Kids Eat Free, Strike Out Hunger, Thirsty Thursday, and Fan Appreciation Night.

K94.5, metroPCS, Fox 33, and Landers Dodge Present "Practice Safe Text Night" - K94.5 listeners who take the pledge to "Practice Safe Text" will receive a free reserved ticket to see the Captains play the Cats as well as, a free post-game concert featuring Andy Grammer and Manika. Pepsi's "Bark in the Park" - Fans can bring their beloved family dog to the ballpark. Thanks to Pepsi, Sunday's also include a special ticket price of $2 and 20 ounce soft drinks for just $2.
Monday, August 22 - Fort Worth Cats @ 7:05pm (Gates open at 6:05pm)
Ladies' Night - On Jose Cuervo Margarita & Maker's Mark Mondays all females 21 and over receive free admission. In addition, all margaritas, frozen drinks, and mixed drinks made with Maker's Mark are half-off.

Strike Out Hunger and Captain Morgan TwoferTuesday - Fans who donate a minimum of 6 cans of food and/or non-perishable food items receive a free reserved ticket to this game. Fans who donate 10 or more cans of food and/or non-perishable food items will receive an additional free reserved ticket valid for one of the three remaining 2011 regular season home games. The evening includes buy one get one free tickets and Captain Morgan drinks.
Wednesday, August 24 - Grand Prairie AirHogs @ 7:05pm (Gates open at 6:05pm)
Willis-Knighton Wednesday - Kids 12 and under eat free with paid admission. Kids receive a free hot dog and can soda compliments of Willis-Knighton Health Systems.
Thursday, August 25 - Grand Prairie AirHogs @ 7:05pm (Gates open at 6:05pm)
metroPCS and 99X Shirt Off Our Back Night and Thirsty Thursday - Fans will have the chance to take home their favorite Captain's game worn t-shirt courtesy of metroPCS and 99X. Thirsty Thursday also includes $2 domestic can beer and $2 Pepsi products.

Fan Appreciation Night - The first 500 fans will receive a souvenir Captains' Pirate Hat courtesy of 1st Choice Personnel. The first 500 fans will also receive a coupon for a free dessert courtesy of McAlister's Deli Youree Drive Location. Fans will also have a chance to win prizes throughout the game. The evening also includes metroPCS Youth League Night and Buffalo Wild Wings "Kids' Run the Bases".
After this home stand the Captains head west to Fort Worth for the final four games of the 2011 regular season. The four-game series against the Cats begins on Saturday, August 27 and concludes on Tuesday, August 30.
