LEADING OFF: West Virginia stopped a four-game slide with a 6-3 come-from-behind win at Delmarva on Monday night. The Shorebirds built a 3-0 lead against Logan Sendelbach and Delmarva starter Reid Love made that stick through six innings, allowing two hits, walking two and striking out eight. In the seventh with Love still pitching, The Power loaded the bases and Ryan Nagle doubled them all home for a 3-3 game. Nagle scored on an error to give the Power the lead. Ke'Bryan Hayes hit his fourth home run of the season in the eighth inning and Christian Kelley singled in a run in the ninth to extend the lead. Billy Roth was the benefactor of the run support and earned his second win while Seth McGarry work the final two innings for his first save.

GOLDEN UPDATE: Alan Hanson was recalled by the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday and made his Major League debut in a pinch hit at bat against the Atlanta Braves. Hanson played short for West Virginia during the 2012 season and was a South Atlantic League All-Star that summer. He is the 50th former Power player to reach the Major Leagues.

ON THE FLY: The Power's seven game road swing takes them to Salisbury, Maryland for the first time this season. West Virginia and Delmarva will play five series this season totaling 18 games. The Power won the 2015 season series 12-3 and have a 73-62 advantage all-time against the Shorebirds. Seven of the 18 games will be played at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.

HANGING ON: Seth McGarry's two-inning save on Monday was the club's first save since game two of a doubleheader on April 22. West Virginia's bullpen has amassed a league-low six saves this season. Six different relievers in the league have more or as many saves as the Power staff has this year.

BRINGING IN BUNCHES: Ryan Nagle now has 13 runs batted in this season over 31 games. Monday's game marked the third time Nagle has driven in three runs in a single game. The outfielder also has four games with one RBI.

RISP-Y BUSINESS: West Virginia went 3-28 with runners in scoring position during the entire four game Lakewood series. On Monday night against Delmarva, the Power had three hits in 10 at bats with runners in scoring position.

FOUR SCORE: The four run seventh inning Monday evening was the Power's most productive inning this month. The six run game total nearly matched the offensive output during the Lakewood series (seven runs total) and is the most the club has scored in a game since a 7-3 win over Asheville on April 29.

BRUSHED ASIDE: West Virginia was swept in a four-game series for the first time in nearly two years. Hickory was the last team two sweep a four-game set with the Power, accomplishing the feat from June 5 through 8, 2014. During the last four games, West Virginia was held to seven runs on 22 hits over 123 at bats.

POWER POINTS: No Power player has a current hitting streak longer than catcher John Bormann's five game run. Bormann's 10 game on-base streak is also the longest current streak on the roster... Cole Tucker's ninth inning home run Saturday was his first this season and first since June 4, 2015, before the shortstop's shoulder surgery. All five of Tucker's professional home runs have been hit on the road, regardless of what team of league he has played in.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION: Pittsburgh beat Atlanta 8-5 in their homestand opener. Gregory Polanco went 3-5 with three runs scored... Indianapolis blanked Columbus 2-0. Chad Kuhl pitched seven shutout innings for the win... Altoona was idle and opens a series at Binghamton tonight... Bradenton held off Brevard County 7-5. Elvis Escobar hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the ninth.

PROMO UPDATE: On May 21, the Power host the Hickory Crawdads on Armed Forces Night. Any active or retired member of the military will receive a free ticket and their immediate family members are offered a discounted ticket price.

ON THE AIR: West Virginia Power games can be heard on Charleston's ESPN Radio 104.5 FM and 1490 AM in Charleston, online at wvpower.com and on the TuneIn Radio App. Adam Marco will call the action once again and will be joined by Greg Wong when the team plays at Appalachian Power Park.
