THE LEAD OFF: West Virginia blanked Delmarva 7-0 on Sunday afternoon. Dovydas Neverauskas tossed five shutout innings and combined with Clario Perez and Miguel Rosario to hold the Shorebirds without a run on seven hits. Reese McGuire plated the first run with a sac fly in the third before Francisco Diaz hit a two run home run in the fifth to break the game open against Hunter Harvey. The Power added two in the sixth and two in the eighth to close the scoring. Neverauskas earned his team-best third victory and West Virginia pinned the loss on one of the top pitching prospects in the Baltimore Orioles organization.

THE NAME IS THE THING: On Saturday, the West Virginia Power front office and Appalachian Power announced the extension of the naming rights agreement for Appalachian Power Park. The stadium, in its tenth season, will remained named after the utility provider for at least the next ten seasons. The initial agreement was slated to expire at the end of the current season and is now signed through the end of the 2024 campaign.

FLOCK FLIES IN: West Virginia and Delmarva meet again tonight in game three of this four game series. The Power and Shorebirds have played each other 121 times since 2005 and regained the all-time series lead 61-60 with Sunday's victory. The Power hold a 39-30 mark at home against the 'Birds, the South Atlantic League affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles since 1997.

ELEVEN AND DONE: West Virginia's home losing streak was snapped at eleven with a 7-0 shutout win on Sunday. It is the longest such streak in franchise history, surpassing the previous record of seven in a row during May of the 2008 season. During the skid, the team was out-scored 78-36.

BEST STREAK MATCHED: Reese McGuire's hitting streak was extended on the very first pitch he saw Sunday and has reached 11 consecutive games with at least one base hit. The catcher is hitting .372 with 16 hits over his last 43 at bats since May 7 and has matched Erich Weiss's April hitting streak for the longest by a Power player this season.

OH SNAP: Harold Ramirez's hitting streak was stopped at six in a row after going 0-3 with two walks on Saturday. The outfielder has still reached safely in eight straight since returning from a month-long stint on the Power DL.

DOUBLE-A CALL: Kawika Emsley-Pai was promoted to Double-A Altoona on Sunday. The catcher has appeared in 10 games for the Power this season after spending portions of 2011 and 2013 with the club. Once he plays for the Curve, it will mark the highest level he has reached in his five year career. Emsley-Pai also made his first career appearance in a game at first base, spelling Edwin Espinal on Wednesday.

KENDALL SIDELINED: Will Kendall, the lone left-hander in the West Virginia bullpen, has been placed on the Power Disabled List by Pittsburgh. The Pirates, in turn, promoted left-hander Jared Lakind from Jamestown. Kendall is 0-2 with a 6.06 ERA for the Power this season. Lakind went 2-2 with a 4.56 ERA for the Jammers in 2013 over 17 appearances after spending three seasons as an infielder in the organization.

PROMO UPDATE- MAY 20: West Virginia hosts Delmarva at 10:30 am on Tuesday. It is the second and final Grand Slam School Day of the season at Appalachian Power Park.

POWER POINTS: Henry Hirsch and Michael Ryan were each ejected Saturday night. It was the second time Ryan was tossed this year and the second time a player was ejected from a game... Francisco Diaz was promoted from Jamestown to take Kawika Emsley-Pai's spot on the roster after a promotion to Altoona.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION: The Pirates split a doubleheader with the New York Yankees, losing 4-3 in game one before taking the second game 5-3...
