KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (May 19, 2014) - The Kannapolis Intimidators have promoted LHP Jose Bautista to Class A-Advanced Winston-Salem. Bautista, the fourth different Intimidators player to earn a promotion to the Carolina League this season, has a 0.92 ERA in 10 games for Kannapolis with 26 strikeouts in 19.2 innings of work. In a corresponding move, RHP Alex Powers has been activated from the Disabled List.
Outfielder Adam Engel, who left Sunday's game in the fifth inning, has been placed on the Disabled List, and outfielder Hunter Jones has been promoted from Extended Spring to fill the roster spot.
