
Wranglers Tally Sixth Win in a Row, Beat Bakersfield 4-1

Bakersfield, Calif. -- Recording a season-high sixth win in a row, the Las Vegas Wranglers won 4-1 over the Bakersfield Condors tonight.
Only 72 seconds into the first, Wranglers center Eric Lampe recorded his 18th goal of the season for a quick 1-0 lead. Bakersfield turned around and evened the game on a goal from forward Jacob Lagace, making it a 1-1 game just 2:30 into the period. Wranglers right wing Sean Wiles regained the one-goal lead four minutes later, and a second goal from Lampe gave Las Vegas the 3-1 advantage at the end of 20 minutes.
Five minutes into the second, Wranglers left wing Adam Huxley posted a goal, his third of the season, for a 4-1 score. Bakersfield outshot Las Vegas 11-6 through the second and 14-8 in the third, but the Wranglers skated with the 4-1 victory on 29 total shots. Wranglers goaltender Joe Fallon stopped 31 of 32 Condors shots in the team's second road win in a row.
The Wranglers continue their road trip with a game against the Ontario Reign tomorrow and a contest against the Utah Grizzlies on Wednesday, Feb. 13. The team returns home on Friday, Feb. 15, for two games against the Idaho Steelheads, including the Wranglers Midnight Circus on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 11:59 p.m.
