Las Vegas Wranglers News Release

The Las Vegas Wranglers are giving 447 stuffed animals to Sunrise Acres Elementary School students. Sunrise Acres is the Wranglers Focus School. The stuffed animals were collected on November 20 during a game against the Idaho Steelheads. The 2nd Annual Teddy Bear Toss was started when Dustin Johner scored the first goal of the game for the Wranglers in the third period of an eventual 2-1 victory. Stuffed toys rained from the ice and were collected by Wranglers players and Sunrise Acres faculty.

The Wranglers are sponsoring a Blood Drive on Monday, December 20. The Blood Drive runs from 4-7 pm and is being held in the Orleans Arena. For more information please visit bloodhero.com. You can also sign up for a time slot at that same site. Type in "wranglers" as the sponsor and you will find the information. All donors will receive two tickets to Penn & Teller and be entered to win a Wranglers jersey. Walk-ins are accepted but appointments are encouraged.

Also on Monday December 20, the Wranglers will be playing their 2nd Annual Midnight Holiday Roundup game. The game will feature a Toy Drive for local families and children in need.
