Charlotte Checkers News Release
What: Is your restless little rock star home for the holiday break? Do you sing in the shower and know you've got what it takes? Do you know a songbird just waiting to take flight? Then come on down to Founders Hall to audition for a chance to sing the National Anthem before a Charlotte Checkers home game. Everyone is welcome and the audition fee is just $5!
When: This Monday, December 20th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Founders Hall, 100 N. Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte. Founders Hall is located on the street level of the Bank of America building. Parking is available in the Corporate Center Parking Garage located on College Street between Trade and Fifth. Parking tickets will be validated.
Other Information:
Whether just stopping by on a lunch break to watch the auditions, or putting it all on the line for a shot at singing for thousands of fans before a game, come see Charlotte's brightest stars as they compete to be an official 2005 Charlotte Checkers National Anthem singer. Children and adults of all ages and levels of experience are invited to participate.
Last year at this point in the season, the Checkers were 8-10-3. This year, the Checkers are 13-7-2 and remain among the leaders in the American Conference. This Monday at 11:30, bring your voice and your $5 audition fee to sing for the hottest team on ice!
