
Wranglers Grill Steelheads for 4-3 Comeback Win

Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers battled a three-goal deficit to come back and win 4-3 against the Idaho Steelheads tonight in Boise.
A shorthanded goal by Wranglers forward Josh Lunden put Las Vegas on the board three minutes into the game, but three Steelheads goals in three minutes gave Idaho a 3-1 lead at the end of the first. Steelheads forward Jacob Cepis secured two goals assisted by forward Chad Klassen, and Klassen notched the other goal with Cepis on the assist.
Las Vegas rallied in the second with three goals - one from center Adam Miller and a pair from center Pete MacArthur - to earn a 4-3 lead over the Steelheads by the end of the frame. A scoreless third period gave the Wranglers the win, outshooting the Steelheads 38 to 22 in regulation.
The Wranglers finish a two-game series against the Steelheads tomorrow night in Boise with a puck drop at 6:10 p.m., and the team returns home to play the Stockton Thunder on Jan. 13 and 14, 2012. Tonight's full box score can be found here .
