Jackals Sign Veteran Miller

The Elmira Jackals announced on Friday that they have signed veteran forward Kelly Miller to a standard player contract. Elmira welcomes the Wheeling Nailers to First Arena tonight, with the puck dropping at 7:35 p.m.

Miller, a 12th-year pro, has played in 18 games this season with the FHL's Danbury Whalers, scoring 10 goals and adding 10 assists for 20 points.

In his career, Miller has played in 152 ECHL contests for three teams, totaling 26 goals and 28 assists for 54 points. The Toledo, Ohio native skated for the Nailers in 2010-2011, scoring eight goals and adding three assists for 11 points in 21 games.

Miller played in seven games under Jackals coach Pat Bingham with the UHL's Fort Wayne Komets in 2006-2007.

In his pro career, Miller has registered 106 goals and 123 assists for 229 points in 495 contests.
