The Elmira Jackals play their final home game of the calendar year 2011 as they welcome the Wheeling Nailers to First Arena at 7:35 p.m. The Jackals lead the Nailers by two points for first place in the Atlantic Division, most recently defeating the Reading Royals in a shootout on the road Wednesday, 4-3. Elmira brings a four-game winning streak into the game, while Wheeling has taken points in each of its last four contests (2-0-1-1).

Elmira is 18-2-0-0 when allowing four goals or less in 2011-2012 but is 0-9-0-0 when giving up five goals or more in a game.
FRIDAY-NIGHT FITS
