Wranglers finalize roster, gear up for season opener

Las Vegas, NV -The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the team's opening-day roster for the 2004-05 season.

# Starting Season on Injured Reserve.

Las Vegas returns eight players from the 2003-04 squad including goalie Marc Magliarditi, Captain Jason McBain, defensemen Mike McBain, Deryk Engelland and Jon Krall, as well as forwards Morten Ask, Doug Wright and Jeff Attard, The team features 10 Calgary prospects assigned to the Wranglers from the Flames or the Lowell Lock Monsters (AHL). Friday night six rookies will take to the ice for Las Vegas in Fresno. Defenseman Ryan Gaucher and forward Adam Huxley have both been placed on the injured reserve to start the season.

The Wranglers start their second season in Fresno with the season-opening game scheduled for Friday, October 22nd at 7:00 pm. Las Vegas will then head to Long Beach to face the Ice Dogs on Saturday, October 23rd at 7:00 pm.

Tickets for all games are on sale now. Fans may purchase seats to the Wranglers Opening Night on November 2nd as well as all other 35 regular season home games and both pre-season games at any of the following ticket locations; The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast and Suncoast, or at the Boulevard, Galleria or Meadows Malls guest relations/ticket centers.

The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
