Dayton Bombers News Release

Dayton, OH – The Dayton Bombers of the ECHL announced on Wednesday the addition of veteran hockey broadcaster DAVID J. MILLER to the front office staff.

After graduating from Geneseo (NY) State University with a BA in Communication, Miller started his professional broadcasting career in 1991 with the American Hockey League's Binghamton Rangers. Next, the National Hockey League retained his services as the Host and Executive Producer of the Buffalo Sabres Radio Network in 1995. The Buffalo, New York native then went on to work as the Radio and Television voice of the International Hockey League's Cleveland Lumberjacks from 1997-2000.

Miller later returned to Western New York to host a sports talk show on WNSA-FM where he also served as a field reporter and post-game host for the National Football League's Buffalo Bills. He is very excited to return to the ECHL after serving as the Director of Communication for the Greenville (SC) Grrrowl in 2002-2003.

"The new Managing Partners of the Dayton Bombers are committed to breathing life back into this franchise", said Miller. "It's going to be an exciting season for the Bombers and their fans, and I can't wait to be a part of it."

He will serve as the Director of Communication and Community Relations, responsible for all aspects of Public Relations and radio/internet broadcasts.

Miller was part of the National Radio Broadcast Team for the 2000 IHL All Star Game in Houston, Texas and the 2003 ECHL All Star Game in Fort Myers, Florida.

The Dayton Bombers home opener is October 29th at the Ervin J. Nutter Center. Season ticket packages for the 2004-05 season are available by calling the Bombers' office at 937-775-4747.
