Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons officially begin their second season in the ECHL on Friday, when they host the West Division-rival Las Vegas Wranglers at Save Mart Center at 7 p.m. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive magnet schedules, and the ZOOperstars will entertain the crowd between periods, all courtesy of MadTown Auto Stereo and Accessories.
Scheduled to appear for the popular ZOOperstars are Ichiroach Suzuki, Derek Cheetah, Roger Clamens, Mia Hammster, Peyton Manatee and Dennis Frogman.
After heading to the San Diego Sports Arena to face the San Diego Gulls on Saturday, which can be heard live on 103.1 FM beginning at 7 p.m. with the pre-game show, the Falcons return to Save Mart Center for their third game in three days on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 5 p.m. against the expansion Victoria Salmon Kings.
Sunday's tilt against the Salmon Kings marks the first Falcons Family Day. Every Sunday home game throughout the 2004-05 season features four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks for just $40 - a savings of $31!
Tickets are on sale for both home games this weekend for as little as $8 per seat and may be purchased directly at Save Mart Center's box office and all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 485-TIXS (8497) or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
