Las Vegas Wranglers News Release

Loveland, Colo. - The Las Vegas Wranglers won 1-0 over the Colorado Eagles tonight, wrapping up a seven-game road stretch as the team returns home for the end of the regular season.

Eight minutes into the first, Wranglers left wing Adam Hughesman jabbed the puck past Eagles goaltender Adam Brown for an early 1-0 lead. The one-goal game continued through the second as Las Vegas narrowly outshot Colorado 18-16.

The Eagles put more pucks on net in the third, 12-5, but the team couldn't capitalize with Brown pulled in the final minute, giving Las Vegas the 1-0 win in the final game between the two teams this season. Wranglers goaltender Mitch O'Keefe stopped all 28 shots he faced in his first shutout of the year.

The Wranglers return home on Tuesday, March 19, to play the Bakersfield Condors. Former goaltender Marc Magliarditi will be honored during the 7:05 p.m. game for his induction into the ECHL Hall of Fame earlier this year, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a free Wranglers all-time team poster as well.

Celebrating 10 seasons of Wranglers hockey this year, group events are available at all home games, including pre-game ice skating parties, private luxury suites, and rink-side catered party boxes. Groups of ten or more can sit together starting at $13 per ticket, and feature perks such as in-game group recognition and "buy one, get one free" Chuck-A-Puck vouchers.
