Reign Suspend Cloud

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, announced that left winger Chris Cloud has left the team and his rights have been suspended.

Cloud, 24, appeared in 47 games with the Reign this season accumulating seven points (3g, 4a), and 129 penalty minutes.

The Waywayseecappo, Manitoba native was in his second season with the team. Last year he earned 21 points (8g, 13a) and 157 penalty minutes. Cloud saw his first AHL call up in 2011-12 to the Manchester Monarchs where he skated in 10 games and posted 19 penalty minutes for the team.

The four-year pro previous played in the CHL with the Bloomington PriarieThunder, Tulsa Oilers, and Amarillo Gorillas. He made his professional debut with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL in 2009.
