World's Largest Pillow Fight Friday

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield Condors are home for three games this week, hosting the Utah Grizzlies on Wednesday and Friday, and the Phoenix Roadrunners on Saturday. Puck drops at 7pm for all three games, doors open at 6pm at Rabobank Arena.

On Wednesday, March 29th it's High School and College ID Night presented WB-TV 12 and The Big 96.5. All college and high school students will receive $1 admission by presenting a valid student ID at the Rabobank Box office. Wednesday is also AT&T Yellow Pages Phone Book Recycling Night; bring an old phone directory and receive $2 off admission. All Body Xchange members will receive two for one admission by presenting their Body Xchange membership card at the Rabobank Box office for Body Xchange Member Discount Night.

On Friday, March 31st, join us for the World's Largest Pillow Fight sponsored by WB-TV 12, 106.1 KRAB Radio and American Business Machines. Bring a pillow to join the Condors as we attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the largest pillow fight. The Condors are hoping to break the current world record of 3,648 participants set on April 17, 2005 in New York at the University of Albany. Last season 1,044 fans participated in the Condors first attempt to break the record. Following the pillow fight, fans are invited to throw the pillows onto the ice for collection. All pillows will be donated to the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter, Goodwill, the Salvation Army and other local charities. Friday is also Holiday Inn Select DARE Night. All students graduating from the DARE program will receive complimentary terrace admission to Friday's game.

On Saturday, April 1st, Bud Light presents the Bakersfield Fog Jersey Raffle and Auction. This is no April Fool's joke, the Condors will turn back the clock and don Fog jerseys, which will be auctioned off after the game including jerseys for former Fog players Kevin Barrett and Glen Mears. Plus everyone in attendance has a chance to win one of five to be given away. All proceeds will benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA). Saturday is also Bright House Networks, Bakersfield Californian and Hometown Buffet Condors Kids Club Night as all kids club members receive free admission. Saturday's game will be televised live on Bright House Networks Channel 21. Bright House will also re-play the game on Sunday, April 2nd at 7pm on Ch. 21.

After the game on Wednesday, stop by the Holiday Inn Select Autograph Booth behind section 108 and have your Nightly Notes autographed by Kevin Truelson and Joel Irving. Following Friday's game Ryan Munce and Kevin Kotyluk will be on hand for autographs. After the game on Saturday, Sean Venedam and Steve Howard will be signing autographs at the booth.

Individual game tickets are now on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena box office, which is open 10am - 6pm Monday through Friday and 10am - 4pm on Saturdays with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 322-2525, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
