WOLF TRACKS
--- Chicago won its 500th AHL regular-season game on Saturday, becoming the 22nd franchise - and second-fastest - to reach the 500-win plateau in the 77-year history of the AHL.
--- The Wolves have posted a 12-5-1-1 record in their last 19 games (since losing players to the end of the NHL lockout on Jan. 6) to move into a tie for seventh place in the Western Conference playoff standings; Chicago sits in second place in the Midwest Division with 59 points in 50 tilts (26-17-4-3); the team's 50 games are tied for the fewest-played in the AHL and it holds at least two games in hand on 11 of the other 14 teams in the Western Conference.
--- Starting with its game at Texas on Friday, Chicago will sprint to the close of the 2012-13 campaign by playing 26 games in the season's final 52 days; the Wolves have 11 home games and 15 road tilts remaining.
--- Chicago has bagged a power-play goal in 12 of its last 13 home games, including each of its last nine tilts in Rosemont (16 of 56), but has lit the lamp with the extra skater just once in its last six road tilts (two of 21); the Wolves, who ranked 25th in the AHL on the man-advantage on Jan. 1, now hold 12th in the league with a 17.7 conversion rate on the power play this year (35 of 188).
