Flames Acquire Right Wing Mike Testwuide from Philadelphia Flyers

Calgary, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have acquired right wing Mike Testwuide from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Mitch Wahl. Testwuide has been assigned to the Abbotsford Heat.

Testwuide, a native of Vail, CO, has played the past three seasons with the Flyers' American Hockey League club, the Adirondack Phantoms. In 76 games during his rookie professional season in 2010-11, the 6'3', 210 lb winger recorded 39 points from 18 goals and 21 assists. In 161 career AHL games he has accumulated 70 points and 168 penalty minutes. Testwuide was captain of Colorado College (WCHA) during his senior year and led the team in scoring. Following four seasons at Colorado College, he signed as a free agent with the Flyers on March 19, 2010.
