B-Sens Release Keserich and Marshall

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that goaltender Ian Keserich and forward David Marshall have been released from their professional try-out contracts.

Keserich, 27, dressed as the B-Sens' back-up goaltender for two games, but did not play.

The 6-2, 200-pound goaltender has posted a record of 3-1-0 with 2.40 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage in four games with the B-Sens' ECHL affiliate Elmira Jackals this season.

Marshall, 27, appeared in six games with the B-Sens, recording no points, but posting 12 penalty minutes.

The 5-11, 191-pound forward will rejoin the Reading Royals of the ECHL. In 52 games with the Royals this season Marshall has recorded 46 points (17 goals, 29 assists) and added 85 penalty minutes.

The B-Sens return to action on Friday, March 1 when they visit the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Fans can listen live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM) beginning 15 minutes before game time as Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens, hosts the Countdown to Faceoff.
