MAKE IT SNAPPY

Chicago's 6-3 loss to Houston on Sunday snapped a streak which saw the club post wins in a season-high six straight matchups on home ice; the Wolves share fourth in the West Division with 55 points through 53 games (26-24-2-1), three points behind second place Rockford.

--- JEFF HAMILTON: Leads the team and ranks 12th in the AHL with 32 assists, and paces the team with 44 points and nine power-play goals in 40 games ... Shares third on the squad with 12 goals ... Tallied at least one point in 27 of his 40 outings this season, which includes 10 multiple-point performances - six of which were three or more

--- JOEY CRABB: Posted six goals and eight points in six games since being reassigned by the Atlanta Thrashers on Jan. 30 ...Recorded Chicago's first hat trick of the season and the first of his professional career on Feb. 4 ... Made his NHL debut in 26 games with the Thrashers, recording seven points (3G, 4A) - which includes his first NHL marker on Dec. 10 vs. the New York Rangers - and 28 penalty minutes ... Registered 18 points (11G, 7A) and 31 penalty minutes in 22 games with the Wolves this season

--- BRETT SKINNER: Tallied 13 points (G, 12A) in 12 games with the Wolves since being acquired in a trade on Jan. 13 ... Shares first among team blueliners and third on the Wolves with 25 points, which includes 12 points (G, 11A) in 24 contests with the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers ... Ranks second on the club with 23 assists ... Made his NHL debut in 11 games with the New York Islanders this season, collecting four penalty minutes

--- JORDAN LaVALLEE: Recorded six goals in the last seven games to move into the team-lead with 15 goals ... Shares sixth on the squad with 23 points in 45 games ... Shares first on the club with three short-handed goals ... Stands five shy of the career-high 20 markers he potted in 76 games with the Wolves last season

WOLF TRACKS

--- Chicago has held opponents to two or fewer goals 26 times this year, which includes Saturday night's 2-1 win over Milwaukee; the Wolves have posted a 20-4-2-0 mark when allowing two or fewer tallies this season.

--- Chicago ranks third in the American Hockey League with 10 short-handed goals, which includes netting a shortie on Saturday.

--- The Wolves have lit the lamp first in five consecutive games, after surrendering the first goal in 10 of the previous 11 outings; Chicago has posted a 14-9-1-1 mark when lighting the lamp first this season.

--- The Wolves failed to net a power-play marker on Feb. 6, snapping a streak which saw them bag a man-advantage marker in a season-high eight straight games (15 of 53); Chicago ranks 25th in the league with a 14.9 percent efficiency rating on the power play (44 of 296).

--- Chicago has held opponents without a power-play goal in three of the last five game and has been perfect on the penalty kill 17 times this season (11-3-2-1); the Wolves rank 27th in the league with a 79.6 percent efficiency rating on the penalty kill (219 of 275).

--- Defenseman GRANT LEWIS leads the Wolves and shares seventh in the AHL with a +17 plus/minus rating; the 24-year-old blueliner has notched 18 assists and 58 penalty minutes in 41 matchups this season.

--- Netminder ONDREJ PAVELEC posted 20 saves

--- With the game tied, 2-2, in the second period, the Wolves allowed three straight goals, on the way to dropping a 6-3 decision to the Grand Rapids Griffins at Van Andel Arena on Friday night
