Wolf Pack Return Goaltender Maxime Daigneault to ECHL Charlotte

HARTFORD, February 9, 2009: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has returned goaltender Maxime Daigneault on loan to its ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Daigneault made his first appearance in a Wolf Pack uniform in yesterday's 5-3 defeat at Lowell, playing the final two periods in relief of Matt Zaba. Daigneault allowed two goals on 21 shots and absorbed the loss. In 17 games with Charlotte, the fifth-year pro is 8-8-0, with a 3.20 goals-against average and an 89.9% save percentage, and has won seven of his last nine decisions.

The Wolf Pack are back in action at the XL Center this Wednesday night, February 11, taking on the Manitoba Moose in a 7:00 game. The Pack also have home games this week vs. Lake Erie Friday night (7:00), on Guida's Family Value Night, and vs. the Moose again on Saturday night (7:00). The first 2,500 fans Saturday night receive a bobblehead of former Wolf Pack star, and current New York Ranger, Nigel Dawes.

Adult tickets for Wolf Pack home games can be purchased for as low as $10 each for the rest of the regular season, sponsored by Click It or Ticket.
