The Curve would add a run in the bottom of the second. Hector Gimenez led off with a double and Jamie Romak walked to put two on for James Boone. Boone sacrificed the runners into scoring position and Gonzalez grounded home Gimenez to put the Curve ahead 2-0.
Altoona would push home a third run in the bottom of the sixth. Corley led off with a double and he would score on a one-out double by Jonel Pacheco for a 3-0 lead.
The score would remain the same until the top of the eighth. Reliever Jeff Seus retired the first two batters of the inning before giving up a double to Santo De Leon and a walk to Scott Sizemore.
