Binghamton, NY---Fisher Cats pitchers Bubbie Buzachero and Leon Boyd combined to pitch three innings of scoreless, hitless relief Sunday afternoon, as New Hampshire edged Binghamton 4-3 before 2,333 at NYSEG Stadium.

The Fisher Cats took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. David Cooper doubled and scored on a single by Brian Dopirak (1-for-3, RBI). It was Dopirak's club-leading 17th RBI of the season.

New Hampshire (14-9) extended the lead to 3-0 in the last of the second. Nick Gorneault led off the inning with a double to left field. He scored on a single by Luis Sanchez (2-for-4, RBI). Jonathan Diaz (2-for-2, 2 BB) followed with a base-hit and then Adam Calderone singled Sanchez home off Binghamton starter and losing pitcher Dylan Owen (0-2).

Binghamton (11-10) got on the board in the last of the fourth inning against Boone. Josh Peterson doubled and Shawn Bowman hit a home run to make it 3-2.

In the top of the sixth inning, the Fisher Cats added a run. Gorneault walked but was erased on a fielders choice ground ball by Sean Shoffit. Sanchez doubled Shoffit to third and he came home on a wild pitch thrown by reliever Edgar Alfonzo.

Binghamton closed to 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning without the benefit of a hit. Reliever Rommie Lewis walked Ruben Tejeda and Carl Loadenthal before leaving for Buzachero. Jonathan Malo's sacrifice moved the runners up, but Josh Thole and Josh Peterson each grounded out.
