The Wolf Pack ended the week with their seventh home win in a row, which puts them in second place in the Atlantic Division, three points behind league-leading Manchester. The club has an overall record of 28-10-1-2, good for 59 points. The team has the best home record in the AHL (19-3-0-1) and continues to boast the best penalty-killing in the league (89.82%) and have risen to the sixth-best powerplay, which is clicking at 18.46%.

Goaltenders Jason LaBarbera and Steve Valiquette have changed places atop the league's goalie board. Valiquette now stands number one with a goals against average of 1.73 and LaBarbera is number two at 1.74. Lawrence Nycholat, who is number four in defensemen scoring leaders, is also on a nine game assist streak (11) dating back to December 28. Jeff Hamilton has gone eight games in a row with at least one assist, notching 11 since December 27.

This week:
Four important Atlantic Division match-ups this week, starting with the Springfield Falcons on Wednesday. Friday the club is in Worcester and finishes the week with home-and-home games versus the Lowell Lock Monsters.

Tuesday, January 18 - "Pack Talk" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue on ESPN Radio 1410
This week's scheduled guests Lucas Lawson and Garth Murray will join the voice of the Wolf Pack, Bob Crawford, at Little Mark's Big Barbecue, 279 West Main Street (Route 44) in Avon from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Fans are invited to come down to Little Mark's to participate live, or to listen in on ESPN Radio 1410.

Wednesday, January 19 vs. Springfield - Hartford Civic Center 7:05 p.m.
* The Falcons currently sit in last place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 12-23-2-2. On the road the club is 5-15-1-0. The club has the fewest shots per game average in the league with 26.75 per game.
* The Wolf Pack are 3-1-0-1 against the Falcons, their last game a 4-3 loss to the club in Springfield.
* Trevor Gillies and David Liffiton will participate in an autograph session post game.

Friday, January 21 at Worcester - DCU Center 7:05 p.m.
* The IceCats are currently tied with Lowell for third place in the Atlantic Division, with a record of 23-12-2-2. At home the club is 14-5-1-1. They are the least penalized team in the AHL with an average of just under 15 minutes of penalties per game (14.95).
* The Wolf Pack's record against the IceCats is 3-2-0-0. The Pack lost their last game against Worcester at the DCU Center 4-3 back on December 28.

Saturday, January 22 vs. Lowell - Hartford Civic Center 7:35 p.m. ** NOTE TIME CHANGE **
* This is the first of back-to-back meetings with the Lock Monsters.

The team is currently tied for third place in the Atlantic Division with Worcester with a record of 23-10-1-3. The club has won their last six games in a row and their last three road games.
* The Wolf Pack are 1-0-0-1 versus Lowell, their last game a 1-0 shootout loss to the Lock Monsters at home on December 3.
* Pre-game, Dominic Moore will receive The Hartford's Hot Shot award for amassing the most points in the club's first 40 games. Moore racked up 10 goals, 23 assists for 33 points in the first half of the season. The Hartford will make a donation in Moore's name to his chosen charity, the American Red Cross' Tsunami Relief Fund.
* Between periods, qualifiers from WCCC will participate in a shootout to win an ATV from Manchester Honda

Sunday, January 23 at Lowell - Paul E. Tsongas Arena 4:00 p.m.
* The Pack travel to Lowell on Saturday to face the Lock Monsters. The Wolf Pack have a road record of 9-7-1-1 and will go against the Lock Monsters' 14-3-0-1 home record.
* Currently the Lock Monsters have the third most shots per game with a 33.03 average.
