
Reich Hits 300 Games Played Mark

Left wing Jeremy Reich became the second player in franchise history to appear in 300 games on Saturday, January 15 vs. the Cleveland Barons. Reich trails Mark Wotton by 10 games for the club record of 310 games. Center Brad Moran enters this week at 293 games played. Reich has appeared in 35 games for the Crunch this season, recording 4 goals, 3 assists and 103 penalty minutes. A native of Craik, Saskatchewan, Reich was originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks with their third choice, 39th overall, in the 1997 Entry Draft. He was signed as a free agent by Columbus on May 17, 2000. Reich is the Crunch's all-time leader with 734 career penalty minutes.
PANZER EXTENDS STREAK TO FIVE: Center Jeff Panzer extended his point streak to five-games over this past weekend, recording two assists on Friday, January 14 and adding another assist on Saturday, January 15. His five-game point streak is one game shy of right wing Joe Motzko's season high six-game streak earlier this year (December 19 â January 2). Panzer has appeared in 29 games for the Crunch this season, recording six goals and five assists. In 239 career AHL games with Worcester and Syracuse he has tallied 157 points (68g, 89a). A native of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Panzer was claimed by the Columbus Blue Jackets off of waivers from St. Louis on September 7, 2004.

ST. JOHN'S (TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS): Syracuse hosts St. John's on Friday, January 21 for the seventh of eight regular season meeting between the teams this season. The series is tied at three, with St. John's winning the last match-up, 5-3 at Mile One Stadium. Right wing David Ling leads all players in head-to-head scoring with six points (3g, 3a). Several Crunch players lead Syracuse with five points in head-to-head scoring. Karl Goehring has appeared in four games, posting a 1-2-0 record, a 3.14 goals against average and .872 save percentage. St. John's goaltender Mikael Tellqvist has appeared in four games against Syracuse, posting a 1-2-1 record, a 2.94 goals against average and .915 save percentage. Lifetime, the Crunch are 21-13-0 against the Maple Leafs.
ROCHESTER (BUFFALO SABRES): Syracuse plays Rochester at the War Memorial at Oncenter on January 22 for the sixth of 12 regular season meeting between the teams this season. Rochester leads the series 4-1, after defeating Syracuse 5-2 in Rochester. Center Derek Roy leads all players in head-to-head scoring with seven points (5g, 2a). Left wing Mike Pandolfo leads the Crunch in head-to-head scoring with four points (2g, 2a). Karl Goehring has appeared in two games, posting a 0-2-0 record, a 3.04 goals against average and .921 save percentage. Rochester goaltender Ryan Miller has appeared in all five games, posting a 4-1-0 record, a 1.58 goals against average and .952 save percentage. Lifetime, the Crunch are 43-61-13 against the Amerks.

Crunch Players to Sign Autographs at Tully's, January 17: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Crunch players Mark Hartigan, Zenith Komarniski and Pascal Leclaire will be at Tully's on 7th North Street on January 17 from 6-7 p.m. to sign autographs.

Goehring and Sugden to Sign Autographs at Advance Auto Parts, January 17: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Crunch players Karl Goehring and Brandon Sugden will be at Advance Auto Parts in Liverpool (8410 Oswego Road/Rt. 57) on Monday, January 17 from 5-6 p.m. to sign autographs.

Labatt's Celebrity Bartending Series Continues January 19 at Crossroads Tavern: The Syracuse Crunch, along with Labatt's, has announced that the Labatt's Celebrity Bartending series will continue on Wednesday, January 19 at Crossroads Tavern.
Crunch players Chris Ferraro, Peter Ferraro and Tim Jackman will serve as celebrity bartenders at Crossroads Tavern from 5 â 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19. Crossroads Tavern is located on 7th North Street in Liverpool.
All tips generated by the players that night will be donated to the Francis House. Established in January 1991, Francis House has become the home of hundreds of people with terminal illnesses, whose families could no longer care for them.
Moran and Reich to Appear at Hess, January 19: The Syracuse announced that Crunch players Brad Moran and Jeremy Reich will be at Hess located on 7th North Street from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19 to sign autographs and take pictures.

Crunch Players to Appear at Kinney Drugs January 19 and January 20: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Crunch players will appear at two different Kinney Drugs locations on Wednesday, January 19 and Thursday, January 20.
On Wednesday, January 19, Crunch players Andre Lakos, Brandon Sugden and Matthias Trattnig will be on hand at Kinney Drugs in Skaneateles from 5:30-6:30 p.m. to sign autographs and take pictures. The Skaneateles Kinney Drugs is located at 23 Fennel Street. Call 685-2393 for directions.
Crunch players Greg Mauldin, Mike Pandolfo and Ole-Kristian Tollefsen will be at Kinney Drugs in Cazenovia on Thursday, January 20 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. to sign autographs and take pictures. The Cazenovia Kinney Drugs is located at 41 Albany Street. Call 655-3451 for directions.

Empire Vision Centers Poster Night at the Crunch Set For January 21: One of the most popular giveaways in team history returns on Friday, January 21, when each fan in attendance will receive an Empire Vision Centers Crunch poster.
This years' poster depicts the coaching staff and players in a western style âWANTED' format. Each fan in attendance will receive the Crunch poster, courtesy of Empire Vision Centers.
Saturday, January 22
Quickway Trading Card Night Set For January 22: The Syracuse Crunch, along with Quickway, announced that their Saturday, January 22 game against Rochester will be Quickway Trading Card Night.
The first 1,500 fans in attendance at the Saturday, January 22 game, will receive the first 13 of the 25 2004-05 trading card set. The remaining 12-card set will be available, beginning that night, at area Quickway locations.
INJURY UPDATE: Goaltender Pascal Leclaire is expected to miss one-to-two weeks with a groin injury. He has missed 18 games with the injury... Right wing Brandon Sugden is expected to miss two months with a thumb injury. He has missed two games with the injury... Through 39 games this season, Syracuse has lost 62 man-games due to injuries. Pascal Leclaire â 18, Jeff Panzer â 8, Francois Beauchemin â 7, Raffaele Sannitz â 7, Brandon Sugden â 7, Greg Mauldin - 6, Zenith Komarniski â 4, Mark Hartigan â 3, Jamie Pushor â 1, and Aaron Johnson - 1 represent the Crunch's injury list this season.
