Wolf Pack Sign Gherson to AHL Contract

Hartford, January 21, 2006: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack have signed goaltender Robert Gherson to an American Hockey League contract. In accordance with team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Gherson originally joined the Wolf Pack on a Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement November 22nd. In 12 appearances since then, the 22-year-old is 5-4-2, with a 2.49 goals-against average and a 91.5% save percentage.

The Wolf Pack are in action at the Hartford Civic Center tonight against the Providence Bruins (7:00 PM faceoff), and host the Lowell Lock Monsters tomorrow (4:00).
