Canucks recall Maxime Ouellet from Manitoba

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice-President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that the Canucks have recalled goaltender Maxime Ouellet from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

Ouellet, 24, returns to Vancouver after recording a 4-2 victory for Manitoba over the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday, January 20th. He has played in six games for the Moose this season posting a record of 4-1-0 with a goals against average of 3.16 and a save percentage of .887. The Beauport, PQ native has played 10 career NHL games with a 3.30 goals against average, a .900 save percentage and a record of 2-5-2, including two games with Vancouver.

Ouellet was acquired by the Vancouver Canucks from Washington in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick in 2005.
