Wolf Pack Receives Jessiman

Hartford, January 16, 2006: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned right wing Hugh Jessiman back to the Wolf Pack from the ECHL's Charlotte Checkers. Also, the Wolf Pack have released defenseman Bryan Rodney from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement. Rodney will be returning to Charlotte.

In 24 games with Charlotte, Jessiman, who was a first-round pick (12th overall) in 2003 by the Rangers, had 13 goals and 10 assists for 23 points, along with 56 penalty minutes. His goal total ranked third on the Checkers' club, and he was tied for fourth on the team in points. Prior to being assigned to Charlotte November 2nd, the New York City native was scoreless with two penalty minutes in seven games with the Wolf Pack.

Rodney notched one goal and was +2 in two games with the Wolf Pack, his first career AHL action.
