
Woes on the Road Continue for Westchester

FORT WAYNE, December 19, 2014 - The Westchester Knicks (5-8) fell to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (7-7) 113-96 as the woes on the road continued for the Dubs.
Westchester controlled the first quarter, led by smooth shooting from guards Langston Galloway and Andre Barrett. Fort Wayne tied it up early in the second quarter, eventually finding and taking the lead, outscoring the Knicks 36-18. Westchester did not help their own cause, giving up 20 points to fouls in the first half alone.
The Knicks made a run for it in the third, edging Fort Wayne by five points, but the Mad Ants found major traction in the fourth with balanced scoring and never looked back.
Markeith Cummings had another good showing off the bench with 18 points, shooting 9-10 from the free throw line. Thanasis Antetokounmpo also had 18 points, with five rebounds and two blocked shots. Langston Galloway had 17 points, also adding four rebounds and four assists.
A trio of Mad Ants were the Knicks' kryptonite; Russ Smith and Mike Muscala both with double doubles. Smith had 19 points and 11 assists while Muscala had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Glen Rice led Fort Wayne in scoring with 20 points.
The Knicks travel to Maine to face the Red Claws to finish up the three game road trip tomorrow, Dec. 20 for a 7:00 p.m. tip off. The game will be broadcast live on MSG2.
