
Bighorns Fall on the Road to Bakersfield

RENO, NEV., Dec. 18, 2014- Despite Jordan Hamilton's double-double, along with two Bighorns players scoring more than 30 points, the Bighorns fell to the Bakersfield Jam on Thursday night, 152-142.
The Bighorns came out of the gates on fire scoring 42 points, and adding 15 rebounds in the first quarter. Despite a successful last second shot in the second quarter by Stefhon Hannah, the Bighorns went into the locker room at the half trailing the Jam by four.
Shortly after entering the second half of the game, Sim Bhullar netted back-to-back dunks, while David Stockton added four assists. Despite Stockton's 18 points in the fourth, the Bighorns fell to the Jam by ten, with a final score of 152-142.
Stockton and Quincy Miller led the team, scoring 32 points each. Stockton added nine assists, and five rebounds. Miller finished with nine rebounds, four steals, and two blocked shots.
David Wear tallied a total of 19 points, while adding six rebounds. Wear was followed by Jordan Hamilton, who added 19 points, two assists, and a phenomenal 12 rebounds.
Bighorns center Sim Bhullar blocked a total of four shots, and finished with four rebounds.
Earl Barron led the Jam scoring 34 points, and 10 rebounds. Jam forward Elijah Milsap finished with 23 points, and 10 rebounds.
The Bighorns continue on the road this week to take on the Los Angeles D-Fenders on Saturday, December 20.
